    Digital Gardens

Digital gardens are public, linked notes that grow over time instead of finished posts arranged by date.

Digital gardens are often described as public, linked notes that grow over time rather than finished posts arranged by date. Salman Ansari calls them “mind gardens” or “working notes,” and describes them as personal notes shared publicly in a connected interface. Maggie Appleton similarly frames digital gardening as a way of publishing personal knowledge that can keep evolving instead of needing to feel complete.

Digital gardens are (loosely) synonymous with the Zettelkasten method, second brains, working notes, personal wikis, and personal knowledge management (PKM) systems.
